Discover Limecube's latest release

Below is a list of release notes covering what is new and improved in this release.

This release also brought even more improvements in training our underlying AI for better and more accurate results. This update also covered a variety of improvements, new features, speed improvements, security updates, and some bug fixes in Limecube.

AI Credits

Business users can now create more blog posts and content on your site for less cost with 50 free AI credits per month. These credits do not accrue, and roll over on the 1st day of your subscription renewal each month. So now you 

General

• Popups - The popup manager has 2 new features:
  1. Time delay - You can set a time delay for how long it takes before the popup shows. Recommended for popups containing marketing messages and newsletter signups.
  2. Page selection - controls the pages the popup can show on. 
• JSON-LD Schema - This can now be added on a per-page level, for implementing SEO schema more effectively. This can be found under page settings > SEO tab.
• Banners -  Banners have been improved to be more SEO friendly, and improve speed scores under Google's Core Vitals assessment.

Blog

• Blog feeds - Blog feeds now have a new option for 'Carousel mode', which allows you to keep your blog feed in one row with left/right scrolling options.
• Estimated reading time - This now shows under the title of each blog post. With users attention spans getting shorter, it can be helpful to set an expectation of how long a blog post may take to read.
• Blog excerpt - There is now a feature to write a custom blog excerpt should you wish to show in blog feeds in your site. If this is left empty, it works as it does now and feeds from the top of the blog article. 

Speed Improvements

Speed improvements were implemented to improve improve speed scores under Google's Core Vitals assessment. Items like CLS in most cases should see significant improvements.

Changes were also made to how webP images are read by Google for improved scores.

Dashboard

We've now launched a dashboard. The Dashboard will appear when you login, and can be accessed any time from the top admin menu under 'More'. The dashboard gives you an overview of important information about your site, find out important updates much easier, as well as more easily create extra sites which has been a frequent request from Limecubers.
